WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Client Services Director will be based in NeuLion's headquarters in Plainview NY and will work consistently with NeuLion customer accounts to effectively grow relationships in terms of depth, breadth and revenue.  The Client Services Director is expected to cultivate productive relationships with our customers, develop and implement growth strategies, develop and implement marketing strategies, and serve as NeuLion's representative in day-to-day customer relations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Internet video platform technologies and innovative content delivery to consumers.  This person must have a proven track record of success, ideally from within the digital video distribution sector, software application/development or managed/cloud services industry. The candidate must be highly motivated, extremely organized, conversant with technology, team-oriented, creative, and possess strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills. This position will report into the SVP who is responsible for Pro Sports and TV Everywhere client management and business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications or related field.
  • 5 or more years in a client/business development role involving regular client contact.
  • Manage assigned existing client relationships, with a specific focus on client retention, revenue growth and overall expansion of the client relationship.
  • Understand and effectively present company products and services via PowerPoint, web meetings, Word documents and effective onsite communications.
  • Manage client engagement with NeuLion's end-to-end platform solution including: Content Management Services, Encoding/Transcoding, Content delivery, transaction processing, user interfaces, and custom development.
  • Work closely with development, operations, product and contract teams to structure and negotiate service deliverables and deal terms on new ventures.
  • Effectively respond to customer enquiries including RFQs, RFIs and RFPs.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
  • Travel when necessary to meet customers.
  • Strong knowledge of principles of marketing, client development and business strategy is required.
  • Strong knowledge of technology, particularly in the areas of content streaming, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of current sports and general content owners and distributors is preferred.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
